Account Deletion Request

At SageLens, we respect your right to control your data. This page explains how to permanently delete your SageLens account and all associated data, in compliance with Google Play's data deletion policy.

Warning: Deletion is Permanent

Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. All of the following will be immediately and permanently removed from our servers:

  • Your profile and account credentials
  • All AI tutor chat history and session summaries
  • Your learning progress, vocabulary records, and statistics
  • Your preferences and personalisation settings

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App (Recommended)

  1. 1Open the SageLens app.
  2. 2Tap Profile (bottom navigation bar).
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. 4Type your email address to confirm. Deletion is processed immediately.

Option 2: Email Request

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, send an email from the address associated with your SageLens account to:

support@sagelens.app

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request". We process requests within 48 hours.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Account credentials (email, hashed password)
  • Display name and profile preferences
  • All AI chat sessions and messages
  • Vocabulary progress and quiz history
  • Learning statistics and streaks
  • Push notification tokens

Data That May Be Retained

Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregated analytics data (e.g., feature usage counts) may be retained for product improvement purposes. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

Important Note on Subscriptions

Deleting your SageLens account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the App Store. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription separately in your device's store settings before deleting your account.
