Welcome to SageLens. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our language-learning application, website, and related services. By using SageLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the SageLens application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SageLens. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Use of Services & AI Content
SageLens uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide language tutoring. You understand and agree that:
AI-Generated Content
AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of linguistic feedback provided by the AI.
Prohibited Use
You may not use SageLens to generate hate speech, illegal content, or to harass others.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
SageLens offers two subscription tiers managed through RevenueCat and your device's App Store (Google Play or Apple App Store):
Plus
Vocabulary quizzes and daily planned quizzes.
$3/month · $6/3 months · $18/year · $24/2 years
Premium
Everything in Plus, plus unlimited AI tutor chat with no limits.
$10/month · $25/3 months · $80/year · $99.99/2 years
Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
Refunds: Refunds are handled directly by the respective App Store and are subject to their specific refund policies.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and software provided by SageLens are the exclusive property of SageLens or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAGELENS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of SageLens after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to SageLens at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your conduct is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of SageLens shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
